A study tour to South Africa and Botswana was carried out by The Executive Director, Senior Program Officer and 2 board members in May 2008. Experiences and lessons learnt were documented and shared with other members of staff.

UGANET was also represented at the International World AIDS Conference in Mexico which took place in early August 2008. Other activities such as trainings, consultative workshops and seminars were attended by UGANET as a form of networking and capacity building for members of staff.
