Mission The Mission of the
Network is to contribute to the development and strengthening of an
appropriate Policy, legal, human rights and ethical response to
HIV/AIDS, which will failitate collective action towards the fight
against HIV/AIDS |
INTRODUCTION
The Uganda Network on Law,
Ethics and HIV/AIDS (UGANET), was established in 1995, as a
Non-Governmental Organization comprising of organizational and individual
multi-disciplinary membership. This was, after the recognition that the
law has a role to play in influencing the success of HIV/AIDS
interventions intended to prevent the further spread or to mitigate the
impact of HIV/AIDS.

XVII INTERNATIONAL AIDS CONFERENCE IN MEXICO CITY (3 -
8 August 08) Two of UGANET Staff
Members and one Board Member are attending the World AIDS Conference in
Mexico City this week.
VISITORS:(24th/July/08)
UGANET was honoured to host a
delegation of representatives from Civil Society Organisations in China.
The Visit of this delegation to Uganda was coordinated by the
International Republican Institute (IRI) both in China and
Uganda.
